Molybdenum crucible is sintered or forged from the original material—molybdenum powder. Generally speaking, 99.95% pure molybdenum is ueased to make crucible which could resist high temperature around 1600 ?. 




With different processing method (i.e. spinning), Molybdenum crucible could even bear higher temperature. 




Molybdenum crucible is oten used in melting, coating etc. Because of Molybdenum's extreme low thermal expansion rate, Molybdneum crucible is the ideal choice for high-temp usage.
